Lex4Oceans was founded by Lex Szymczyk. Lex is a senior at Regis High School. He has a vision of clean oceans and a world wear people live in harmony with marine life.
Lex has always loved marine biology. He enjoys learning about marine ecosystems and the creatures that inhabit them. Thus, his passion for protecting these ecosystems came naturally.
In addition to creating and running Lex4Oceans, Lex is an avid SCUBA diver, holding an Advanced Open Water SCUBA certification. He is also taking the class "Oceanography: a key to better understand our world" from the University of Barcelona.
Lex makes films that raise awareness for the environment. His film "Nissequogue River - A Beautiful Ecosystem" was an official selection a the Nature Without Borders International Film Festival 2021.
